Quality Assurance on Site: Inspection Plans, NCRs and the Testing Regime

Quality on an Indian construction site is controlled by three interlocking instruments: an inspection and test plan, a testing regime whose frequencies and acceptance thresholds are fixed by code, and a non-conformance register that decides what happens when something fails. This report sets out what the current Indian Standards and departmental manuals actually require, separates the provisions that mandate from those that merely recommend, and shows where two Indian regimes apply different acceptance criteria to the same concrete cube.
